Laura Hyde- a thin, lithe young girl of 16, Laura has very long, light blonde hair with sideswept bangs that tend to partially cover one eye. Her eyes are large and dark, one is a bright green and the other is blue. She has fairly pale skin with an almost grayish tint and a very heart-shaped face. She normally wears a fitting white coat, clearly a straitjacket with the sleeves cut off at her wrists. What she lacks in size and strength is made up for by her keen senses and agility. She won't go anywhere without a knife at her side. Laura's trust can be hard to gain at times and she doesn't speak at first, but she after a while she'll loosen up and settle in a little more though she still isn't that into speaking of her past. She's quite shy and a bit bipolar, easily upset but not one to give up... not ever. Laura was born the way she is, with her bicolor eyes, and she's always been an outcast because of it. People made fun of her to the point where she no longer wanted anything to do with the world, choosing instead to shut herself away in a dark room. For nearly two months she continued this, barely leaving her room for fear of the accusing stares. But most of all, for fear of her father. Her father, who's words in her mind were like knives in her heart. Eventually she snapped, lighting the fire that would destroy her sanity, her home, and her family. In the flames she decided she wanted to finish with her family herself, but after taking her father's life with a knife and consuming his heart, she couldn't bring herself to deal with her mother and younger brother. No matter what she had become she didn't have quite the heart to destroy the ones who had loved her. She sank to the ground, burying her face in her arms as flames licked hungrily around her. In time, police came. Blood and tears on her face, maniac laughter, her sentence was easy- the asylum.
Why must you use me, Cala? Why?
Be quiet, Laurie. Now, if any of you value your sanity, don't listen to my character.
