Silence filled the small town covered in clouds, nothing moving, buildings falling apart. It looked as if a large war had taken place here in the years before, making it uninhabitable now. The sounds of gravel being crushed underfoot broke the serene, yet sorrowful scene. The sound of a lighter clicking open and closed echoing as a man entered the town's market square.
With a soft sigh a hooded figure looked around, clicking the lighter he had hidden inside of his hood. To his left there was a building still standing, to his right what looked like a grave yard, this made the man smile slightly. King had always been drawn to graveyards after the accident that claimed his friends and part of his eye. Something just peaceful about it echoed in his mind, reminding him of a simpler time than what he had been forced to endure.
I should find a place to rest and get out of here soon. He thought to himself, lowering his hood and exposing his dark black hair, the green tip shimmering slightly as the clouded sunlight. His dark caramel eyes scanning over the rest of the area, interest showing in him as he shook his head. He turned to the building and looked at it.
It looked sturdy, the windows were blown out but at least covered over with wooden boards. He walked up to the door and pushed it open, peering into the darkness and going still. A paralyzing fear enveloped him as he seen what looked to be a tall, bald faceless man wearing a suit. The creature from his nightmares, standing before him.
His eyes quickly focused and he let out a shake sigh. It was a mannequin, an old moth eaten suit sitting on the body of the armless man. He forced a laugh into the dusty store and shook his head. "For bloody sake King, it's just a figment of your imagination. There's no way something like.." He perished the thought though, walking deeper into the place and testing the electricity. The clicking of the switch does nothing and made King sigh again. Seems the power to this town is out. He walked around the store front searching for something to light the store up.
Nothing showed itself to him, all he could do was groan into the darkness and lean against the weakened wall.

Andrew and Stephanie continued forward toward the "house", not the least bit attentive of the world around them as the both kept looking at each other out of the corners of their eyes'. If they had been, they would have seen the fog roll in and a figure exit the "house" and go out to the back. However by the time they came to, they were walking around in fog.
"Shit." Stephanie muttered. Andrew stared at her as he placed his hand slightly over his mouth, in a failed attempt to stifle a laugh. Stephanie smiled, and they continued ahead, finally reaching their destination. The door opened, which surprised Andrew easily, who was expecting he'd have to force his entry.
Andrew took a few steps forward before being "greeted" by the same mannequin, that unbeknownst to them had also "greeted" Mr. King who was now out back. Unlike Mr. King however, Andrew didn't know about the slenderman, and punched the figure across its head part. He bent down to once again punch it, but realized he was not hitting a human.
"It's just a mannequin." He said to Crystal, who let out a breath of air. She then tried the light switch to no aveal. Andrew bit his lip and thought. He got up, and looked around a bit with what little light the fog would relinquish. He finally did in fact stumble across what he described to Crystal by yelling to her as, "The world's smallest, and arguably, most-disappointing flashlight that he'd ever seen."
He turned it on, walking back into the room, pointing it around, before he stopped dead, squinting his eyes. Is there someone outside?

Hearing something happening in the store, the man known as King drew out his lighter and a can of body spray he had inside one of the inner pockets of the cloak he wore. He moves carefully, eyes focused to the darkness of the room thanks to the fog that obscured more of the light from inside. As he entered the storefront again he glared at the two people before him. Then shook his head and smiled politely. "Well, hello there." He called out softly to them, trying not to be too loud. He didn't want to startle them too badly and cause a fight.
He looked down at the knocked over mannequin which caused the odd man to smile even more to the other two.
He quickly flicked his lighter open, then closed again. Stepping towards them as he lowered the can. "We need to get the lights on, can either one of you help me find some candles?" He asked, eyes wandering to them both. "Also, we might want to find a way to shut that doorway." He added on, sighing as he leaned into the doorway between the store room and the back room. "Also, if you're planning on staying in here with me, find something to use as a weapon. We'll need some kind of food and I know that there are some kinds of animals in the area that are safe to eat." He stated more as a suggestion to them, then as an order.
He didn't want to push anything on to these two, but the fog that suddenly came rolling in was weird. If they left, so be it, he wasn't gonna be leaving this store without any force. King fixed his hood back over his eyes. "By the way, I'm King Danser." He introduced himself.

The "figure" turned out to be a man. A man who began by seeming nice, and smiling, before giving out several commands/things that he wanted them to do, stopping once to look outside, before continuing with the demands and then introducing himself kindly as "King Danser"...
Andrew smiled, and stood there. Crystal appeared to be looking back and forth between the two. As most people who know Andrew know, he hates being ordered around, at all. He took in a little breath.
"Um.... well..." He paused putting his hands together and twiddling his thumbs. "Okay, i'm just going to say it for shits and giggles, but... What the Fuck?!?!?!" He said smiling the whole time, anger, clear to Crystal at least in his eye. "As far as I can tell, you are an absolute stranger who just walked out of an ominous fog." Andrew tilted his head slightly, smiling almost eerily.
Crystal stepped forward, but he stuck his arm out. "Who the hell are you to come in here and give orders? Do you have a badge of some kind that I don't know about? Do you own this place? No, because you don't even know where your fucking candles are. I don't even know if I can trust you." He said, smile staying the same, but eyes still full of anger. Before anything else happened, Crystal stepped forward.
She stood in front of Andrew, face serious. "Stop" She said. Andrew was about to say something, but was cut off. "No. Don't say anything, just stop now!" She said. He stared at her... then nodded. She turned around.
"Andrew makes a good point, we don't know you. Let's all just sit down and talk, before doing anything else. I'm Crystal Stevens, nice to meet you." She said. She held her hand out, while Andrew began running around, looking and finding chair, not knowing why he was so eager to please her.

King's own smile never wavered as he listened to the man. His eyes flickered slightly and nodded. The man did have some points that he should heed but who cares, he already said what he did. "Pleasure to meet you, Crystal." He said when the woman addressed herself, then took her hand to shake. "Do forgive me, I tend to get into... Well a survival mode when wandering between towns." He started to explain. "As far as I can tell this place is... Well deserted as far as I know. The store was abandoned and I did come in already." He concluded, sitting on the dusty floor of the store.
He then let his gaze wander over to the man who found a chair to use. "I am Sorry Andrew." He stated softly, his odd smile in place even as he started up at the two of them. "I didn't mean to sound bossy, I'm just eager to survive the night and probably get out of this town early in the morning." He told the man who looked furious with a smile.
His eyes glance over his shoulder, looking out into the fog. "Also this weird fog is unsettling. I would prefer to have a closed up shelter for the night and allow anyone who comes by in. As long as they can help around anyway." He stated flatly, to himself more than to them.

Andrew felt kind of bad about how he treated the man, and his anger dimmed quite a bit. He handed Crystal and him a chair, and decided to lean against the wall, wincing when he realized there was a bruise there, but settled down quickly. Andrew stood there for a second, then lurched forward, staring at the fan, actually calm.
"... What did you mean when you said you wanted survive the night? Who... Who are you running from?" Andrew puzzled. "I don't mean to sound pushy, but.. what the hell is going on in this town? And.... where are we?" He asked crossing his arms. Before King could answer, Andrew winced again, and Crystal shot up.
Andrew put two hands up before her. "I'm fine, just sit down. I'm okay." Crystal stared at Andrew, before nodding and sitting back down. Andrew smiled at her, then turned to King, the smile still on his face as he waited for an answer.

He watched Andrew, his eye watching cautiously. "Well, the temperature in the area drops pretty badly in the fall. As for me running from something, I can assure you that it's nothing. I just became a nomad in a sense and was drawn here." He explained softly, leaning against the back of the chair offered to him. He brushed his bang back, the old burn scars around his eye exposed for the first time. "As for the town, I'd guess a war broke out or something. The area seems to have been either bombed or long forgotten. Maybe even both." King speculated, not once letting his smile fade. He felt concern for the hurt man but hid it as he looked around the shop.
"I actually arrived not too long ago." The burned man admitted with a shrug. His eyes more observant of both Crystal and Andrew, getting to know them a bit better from how they react to his words as well as their movements. He nodded to himself. "If needed, we can break down the chairs and start a fire here in the shop, there's a pretty decent ventilation system installed in here, despite it being ruined." He said as he looked around. Waiting to hear from the two of anything further.

Andrew stared at the man now. He was suggesting they start a fire. In the store. Andrew wasn't exactly up the the idea, and wanted to see what the man, who had now revealed that he was burned, was thinking. First he tried the make small talk.
"Bombed, and forgotten?" He said laughing slightly. "Personally, I would have hoped the government wouldn't do that in their spare time. Imagine the conversations that led up to them deciding to bomb a town." He said smiling. "I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during one of them." He laughed slightly.
Just then the air grew thick around them. It was almost hard to breath. Andrew turned around and stared out the window. Standing there was a tall man. Without a face. It stood there, and stared at him, for what seemed like a eternity. Then, it seemed to talk to him. In his head, Andrew could ear a voice almost. He felt sweat trickle down his cheek. This was it. He was going to die.
"COME TO ME NOW!" A voice screamed in his head, and Andrew shook his head. He was on the ground now, staring out the window. There was nobody there. He was shaking as Crystal ran over and placed her hand on his head.
"I... I'm fine Crystal." He muttered, grabbing her arm, but finding it incredibly hard to remove as he felt unbelievably weak all of the sudden. She glared at him.
"You're a bad liar Andrew. You're have a fever, that's clear, and you've been hiding it from us." Crystal said. Andrew was going to tell her that he hadn't, and been fine a second ago, but decided not to make a big deal out of THAT.
"We have to start a fire, and..." He paused. putting a hand to his head. It was hot. "... We have to find food in here, or maybe something to drink. We have a lot to..." Andrew stopped talking and Crystal shook her head.
"You need to rest for a little while. I'll help King gather things." She said. Andrew opened his mouth, but didn't know what to say. So he turned to King, who was now standing, and gave a silent plea for help.

Watching the fallen man worried he gave him a nod. "I don't want to leave Andrew alone if he's in this condition." King looked out into the fog for a moment then sighed. He could get what he could alone and quickly return. The two knew each other in some sense and if he were to get hurt, they wouldn't mind it. "Crystal, stay here with Andrew. I'll go out alone. Just find a way to barricade the door while I'm out. We wouldn't want a fox or something to come in." He said with a laugh. He flicked open his lighter as he walked to the door way.
He winced as his mind flickered to the nightmares he had. How everything had always been shrouded in fog or out in the woods. Something was eerie about the fog.
He shook it from his mind, honestly it's just fog. The worst that could happen to him would not being able to see. As the thoughts settled he clicked the lighter shut. "I'll try to be back as quickly as possible. I'll break into other homes to look for any other supplies we could use. If possible I'll also try and get power back here." He said to them, trying to sound hopeful. He inhaled as he pushed himself out into the deep fog, the cool trickles pricking at his skin.
