OOC: Someone please punch me in the face if I'm going about this wrong. I'd love to follow the rules and not get stalked, but there appear to be no posts in the Rules & Regulations thread, so alas, I am winging it and going off the format of what I've caught of the RP so far.
IC: Maddy was standing in a baseball field, surrounded on the edges by tall tree, naked with the onslaught of fall. She looked around her surroundings, not sure what she was looking for until she saw it. She almost missed him, so perfectly blended was he with the trees; so tall, so thin, so silent. And so still. But Maddy knew why he made no movement towards her; he didn't need to. For the same reason, she made no movement away from him; trying to run was futile. She'd find her way into his arms eventually. It was just a matter of time.
Maddy awoke with a start, the homework she had fallen asleep on sticking to her cheek as she sat up. She blinked, allowing her brain a moment to reassure her she was indeed in her bedroom and the woods. With a sleepy moan she rubbed her eyes, looking back down glumly at the simple biological cross-section of a human she was supposed to label and then of course, color. She eyed the homework with clear displeasure until she noticed the little scribbles in one corner of the page. It wasn't anything of note, just a bunch of circles with an cross through their centers. The only thing that was vaguely interesting about was she had no memory of ever drawing it. But as the homework was mind-numbingly boring she quickly wrote that off as nothing too suspicious at all.
She stretched in the fading sunlight streaming through her window before pushing herself away from her desk, deciding the homework could easily wait for another time. Throwing on a faded green hoodie, she grabbed a small backpack and headed down into the shop on the floor below. By the time she got downstairs, the dream had faded from Maddy's mind entirely.
