Gavin was helped up the stairs by Mike. He could only get a little of what Mike said and it confused him to no end.
".....rry, but I ain't gay.......kinda hard....." What?!? What the hell did that mean?!? He went up the hatch and kept walking. In fact he left Mike's side and went straight into the wall.
He couldn't even say anything to express his pain in his nose. He tried but he couldn't make out any words. So he stood there hand on his nose and turned around. He stared at Mike. What the hell had he meant? Gavin forced out a few words.
"Not..........................Gay?.....................Hard?................W-w-w-wh......" He couldn't make out anymore so he stopped and waited for any answer.

Mike's face flashed a mixture of compassion and concern for his dear friend.
"Yeah...I'm sorry Gavin, I knew you might be upset when you learned I wasn't gay and you wouldn't be able to have me. I still hope we can be friends since I consider you a little brother...please don't hurt yourself by walking into walls again."
Dressed as he was, this was at best, awkward, even for him. "Listen, we gotta go get Faye. I think she has a thing for ya, so let her down easy. Otherwise we are gonna have words."
With that, he put a hand on Gavin's shoulder, patted him, and asked him to call out to Faye.

"......might be upset when you learned I wasn't gay and you wou....."
Gavin caught a whole sentence. He was happy before he realized what Mike said. Mike came over and patted him on the shoulder and said some other muffled thing. But Gavin stood there with his mouth wide open as Mike walked away.
Gavin was angry, a better word was furious. He knew Mike was a little full of himself, but.....He ran after Mike and when he reached him he poked him on the shoulder.
Mike turned around looking red in the face and awkward, and unprepared as Gavin swung his good, left arm and hit him squarely in the jaw. Even though he was part of the military Gavin was a football player and had used every ounce of force, even stumbling slightly afterwards.
Mike fell backwards a bit and Gavin glared.
"I'm.........not...............n-not........" He couldn't get it out. He hoped he had broken Mike's jaw for all he cared. Then again he really wasn't at all social and hadn't known what else to do in that situation.

Mike staggered back a little and his face showed pain, however it more more emotional pain than anything. He had taken far worse hits than that and shrugged them off.
"Well Gavin, I was hoping we could still be friends but fine. You want a fight? I'm happy to oblige..."
With that, Mike threw up his fists. "I swear...I just tried to help ya, then ya go and punch me? Well...as you want it, chief."
Mike was not smiling. Mike was not happy. Mike was pissed. His face showed that he was gonna kick this punk's ass. "Allright Gavin, show me what ya got...If you are prepared for an ass-whoopin'!"

"Allright Gavin, show me what ya got...If you are prepared for an ass-whoopin'!"
Gavin smiled. He knew he was gonna get his ass kicked, but it would be worth it to give Mike payback. He was nervous because he'd never been in a fight, but he thought it would disappear. However it didn't. It began to hurt worse. It began to burn.
He gripped his stomach as his a eyes almost buldged out of his head. He leaned over, gasping for air and forgetting Mike. He put his left hand on his head. It burned. It had never been a migraine. From the start it had been an increasing fever that he had ignored through his own arrogance.
"Shit" He muttered through clenched teeth not realizing until now that he was on his knees. The tears welled up in his now extremely blurry vision. The tears of every god of pain. "Shit" He nearly whimpered.

Faye jerked awake, eyes dazed, cheeks flushed with warmth. "Gah, what?" she whispered, confused. Had she fallen asleep? For how long? Muttering rude things, Faye listened carefully, eyes perked. She could just barely hear Mike, talking to what sounded like....Gav? She grinned, glad she hadn't been found first. Cautiously, the blonde girl reached out a hand, her hair falling over her face, and pushed the door open with a slight creak, glancing up and down the hall. No one, that she could see.
Her smile quickly turned to surprise as Faye lost her balance, and tumbled off the shelf she'd been curled up on, crashing to the carpeted floor, her back hitting the groundwith a painful sounding crunch. Faye nearly blacked out for a second, her already severely battered and bruised back unable to take the collision with the ground. She sucked in air, trying to refill her lungs, which had been emptied forcefully during her fall. After she finally was breathing again, Faye sat up carefully, trying to judge whether she'd actually broken anything. Feeling nothing hurting besides her back and head, Faye tried to stand, and immeadiately sat back down as her head spun.
Gritting her teeth, Faye forced herself up, grabbing at the wall for support. Stupid, stupid, stupid. She continued to berate herself for being so clumsy as she wobbled down the stairs, her back aching fiercely.
Sucking in a deep breath, she called, "Mike? Gavin? You guys down here?"

Mike watched gavin go down and heard some other noise in the back, followed by a distinctly deminine voice.
"Gaye...I mean Faye? You there? Come over here and help me get Gavin to the car."

".....Gaye......" Oh, Oh god Mike, what in the f***ing lords name goes on in your head?!? Gavin thought. Another lurch of pain came, but soon Gavin heard a voice.
Who's was it? Faye's? He thought about it and knew that's who it was. So in a fever enduced action he pushed his body up and charged towards where he heard the voice.
The pain. Oh god it was awful, but he was worried cause he'd heard a thud before. He made it to the bottom of the steps before falling to his knees. He saw the blur of Faye and couldn't tell if she was hurt or not.

"Gaye...I mean Faye? You there? Come over here and help me get Gavin to the car."
'...What the....uhmmm....you know what, I don't even WANT to know what I was about to walk in on...' Faye thought, a confused look on her face as she reached bottom of the stairs. She was looking towards a window, rubbing her pained back, when her attention was brought back to the room as Gavin tumbled to his knees. "Oh god, he meant you were HURT!" she blurted out, taken aback at the fact she hadn't realized what Mike had said about Gavin. She gingerly sat on a stair, so her face was at the same level as Gavin's, carefully holding him up with her hands, blinking starbursts out of her eyes, her back cracking as she leaned towards Gavin, staring at his pupils. They were dilated, and unfocused, and his eyes were slightly red rimmed. She realized after a moment she could feel dry heat radiating through his t-shirt.
'High fever. Very, very high fever. We've GOT to get him into the air conditioned Suburban, and get him some water and ibuprofen, probably...' Faye looked up at Mike, freezing as she realized the man was clad in naught but his boxers, which were hitched up in a manner much like a thong. Faye's cheeks flushed, and she completely forgot about Gavin for a moment, too taken aback by Mike's lack of clothing. She'd thought he was BLUFFING!

Mike saw faye's reaction.
"Well, maybe next time you'll all take me nice and serious like."
Saying little else, he scooped up Gavin and motioned for Faye to follow him back to the car, stopping only momentarily to have her pick up his discarded gear.

Gavin's head was lifted and he was face to face with.....a blur. He knew it was Faye though. He tried to ask what happened but he couldn't speak.
He tried to make out words but when he opened his mouth, nothing came out. So he thought while he tried to talk. He thought of the awful past three days and how he'd met Faye and his new family.
He was soon scooped up by who he guessed was Mike and instinct took over.
"I AM NOT GAY!!!!!" He blurted out. He stopped and realized what he'd said. His stomach pained and he cringed. That took a lot outta him to say in more ways then one..

((Continued from David's house)) Well, way to go, dumbass. Kate FINALLY woke up and you were too busy playin' with the kids to be presentable for her. Now she thinks you are goofy as fuck and is prolly gonna cut me for calling her Katie.
Dejectedly, he stepped into Gavin's house, to the entrance, and grabbed the gear that was there. After a quick check, he realized that he left his top uni parts and weapons in the Suburban. He blew a loud sigh and figured he would look for something to wear in Gavin's house.
He went up to Gavin's Parent's room and started rummaging through the closet. Inside, he found a nice white t-shirt and a nice olive-green denim jacket. He put them both on. They were a little tight but the price was right. Whats more, this jacket seemed to have just as many pockets in similar places as his uni.
Not bad, not bad...seeing as how we're gonna disappear anyway, I should get comfortable in some civi clothes. Just hope Gavin doesn't mind too much...
Triumphantly, he started walking back to the Suburban...

Andrew entered the room and saw Gavin begin to tear the place apart. Andy waited for a few seconds, before Gavin finally noticed him. Gavin sighed and Andy smiled, walking over and opening the closet.
Andy shook his head at the good clothing in the closet. Nothing was stupid looking, Gavin had pretty good taste. Realizing that he would be going to a funeral, he wanted something comfortable, but still dressy for an occasion, as he would use this for the rest of the journey. This would be easy by the fact that Gavin had many button shirts.
Picking a short sleeved black one, he slung it on and began to button it up. Seeing Gavin go across the hall to what he assumed was his parents room, Andy finished and then followed. Entering the other room he saw Gavin looking for something. Andy wondered what until a triumphant grin overcame Gavin's face.
He held up a small silver key and opened up a small box with it. He pulled out a silver necklace with a small cross attached. -------------------------------------------------- Gavin sighed as Andy saw what looked like Gavin going a little wild. Andy barely seemed to care as he entered Gavin's small square closet. Wishing that he could get more for his journey, he remembered one thing that he needed.
Running across the hall he began a frantic search. C'mon, that bastard had to have hid it somewhere. He thought searching for his dad's key. He found it, hidden in the pillow case, the pillow, now on the floor.
Unlocking the box and pulling out the necklace, he clenched it tightly in his hand and smiled. Turning he saw Andrew at the door, yet his smile did not waver.
"This was a family necklace. It's not like it's super old, but it's very important to our family name." He said to Andrew looking down at it again. Then he narrowed his eyes as something came to him.
Small memories of what had happened up to this point. Not a lot, but enough to remember Faye, and Mike, and Mia, who were some of the first that he had met in the group.
Brought back to Earth, by Andrew shaking he he turned and just stared at Andy for a moment. Then he shook his head to signify that he was all right, and headed for the closet.
He didn't look that much as he pulled out a red shirt and a black, zip up hoodie, which he left unzipped, he began to think. First thing when I get out of here I'm gonna leave for Michigan, or Vancouver. Someplace cold, and away from here, and that no faced f***er

((Posting, cause I don't have to wait for anyone.))
As Gavin walked out of the closet Andrew frowned slightly. A slight, dark red shirt, with a black zip up hoodie for his parents funeral. It just didn't seem right.... still it was Gavin's choice and not his.
Andrew looked at Gavin's face now, and he was lost in thought about something. This was the perfect timing, as Andy balled his hand into a fist and put it hidden behind his back, stepping over to Gavin.
"Hey Gavin. I have one more thing I have to do before we going looking for your friend." He said and Gavin became alert again and looked him in the eye. But he wasn't alert enough to catch the quickness of Andrew who swung his fist at Gavin's face with close to full strength.
Gavin stumbled back and Andy knew what to expect, either he would remember everything and be himself again, or Andy was going to have a black eye or worse by the end of this. --------------------------------------------------------- Gavin held his mouth and shut his eyes, groaning at the pain. Nevertheless, Andy's plan worked as well as he had hoped. Gavin remembered everything. His parents bodies, meeting everyone, kissing Faye, being attacked by the slenderman... all of it.
Gavin opened his eyes and looked at the ground. How had he forgotten all of his new family members....members that he might have to abandon with the lifestyle that he's choosing...NO! the lifestyle that he must choose.
Gavin looked up at Andrew. He only knew to do one thing. Gavin darted across the room and punched Andrew straight across the jaw. Andy stumbled back and Gavin smiled, wincing in slight pain.
"Thanks for helping me regain my memories you know-it-all son of a bitch!" Andy rubbed his jaw which must have hurt very badly as he cursed several times before giving a half smile as he rolled his eyes.

Dressed and with supplies, Gavin had one more thing that he needed to do with Andrew. It had popped into his head after Andrew had smiled.
"Hey listen man. Before we get to the funeral there's something I need to show you." He said. Andrew rubbed his jaw to show that he was still slightly angry, before nodding in agreement. Gavin had a huge grin appear on his face as he ran down the stairs as fast as he could.
He hoped that Andrew would follow quickly, as he grabbed the keys to the car in his dad's garage and ran out the front door. He didn't even notice Faye at first as he entered the garage combination and opened it up to stare at his favorite car. His dad's Bentley continental GT
